So I've been seeing that people have been opting off of Deviantart for awhile, and I get it.
The website is very old and Eclipse looks exactly like Facebook's nasty update. ANYWAY, I am far too sentimental to go anywhere, but I want to drop my social media here in this journal for those of you still with us. Please follow me, I REALLY want to keep in touch with everyone! ;;O;;

End of Summer - Update

So, I know that I went pretty radio silent for the majority of this year, but lord, let me tell you, things have been pretty crazy over here.
I wanted to put together a fun little postcard tradeoff with you guys, but shortly after heading home to my girl in England, my housing situation went- for lack thereof a better way of putting it- tits'up. My agreed housemate took it upon herself to, after all of the paperwork, background checks and deposits paid- by me personally- to back out of an apartment with me, and so rudely interrupting my long-awaited- after a year of being away from home- vacation.
In turn, I had about a week to figure out what the hell I was going to do and how to not be homeless after three weeks of unpaid leave from my job.
As you may guess, I managed, but doing so without a housemate has left me very, very broke. Since I've been back in the states, I've been working my regular job, got hired for a freelancing history researching temp gig in a sales/marketing dept. in a hotel, and am trying desperately to find the time and energy to get my commissions done so I can have a moment to spare for the very human and essential function of drawing oxygen to my suffocating lungs.
I swear, either the universe hates me and I can't catch a break- ever-, or I am somehow a master to my own destruction and love to overload myself with work and in turn, drown in it. I can't tell which is most accurate.

Hey guys,
I'm really sorry about the rather consistent inactivity as of late. Things have been pretty stressful at work and while I've been making progress with my commissions (Tythius, owlunai, fictionalfact, MintyBees, alimarije), I have been having alot of panic attacks for the past couple of days while also being hit by a pretty severe head cold. So I just wanted to write a quick update to let you all know that, firstly, I haven't forgotten about you, and secondly, I'm not dead either.
I'll try my best to get some progress updates to everyone soon. I'm really sorry for the delay. ;;

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR COMMISSIONERS:
***With the steep amount that I need under such a short deadline, I must ensure that everyone is aware that I will be taking an unusual (for me) amount of slots, and therefore the wait time for completed products may extend for the summer- July-August approximately. Of course, I will keep in close contact with you with any and all updates, so not to worry, I will get it done and to your satisfaction. I just can't accept anything time sensitive if it is earlier than that time bracket!

feel free to ask me about it and if I am willing to do said thing, we can negotiate a price.
